Ministries & Programs

Sunday School

There are a variety of bible study opportunities with weekly classes on Sunday morning for everyone including preschoolers, children, youth and adults. Opportunities to learn ways to share the gospel around the world are abundant.

Youth Ministry

Our youth are a very exciting part of our church - not only as the next generation of church leaders, but for what they contribute to the life of our congregation in the present. A complete array of youth activities including retreats, rallies, sports, conferences, camps and youth missions complement the ongoing Sunday School and discipleship programs.

Preschool/Children's Ministry

As a congregation, we are dedicated to loving and supporting children and families as they grow in their faith in Christ. We know that developing foundational spiritual direction for children at a young age will encourage a healthy spiritual life as they grow into adults. We are committed to providing quality programming for your children and your family based on Biblical teaching, and inspired by the love of Christ. These activities include Sunday School, Children’s Church, camps, AWANA, and numerous other activities.

AWANA

Music Ministry

Our music ministry has opportunities for service and participation, ranging from preschoolers to senior adults. We have several choirs, bands, instrumental groups and a complete School of Applied Music. Come and share your time and talent with us in praise of and in service to our Lord!

Deacon Ministry

Because we care for you and your family, the paster and deacons of First Baptist Church are committed to the Deacon Family Ministry Plan. We want to make certain that every member and family in our church experience the love and support of the whole congregation. How can a deacon help you? Of course, you are the one one who can answer that question. However, there are some specific ways your deacon wants to try to help. These included visiting you, witnessing to unsaved family members, rejoicing with you and your family, being your friend, giving support in times of crisis, answering questions about your faith, church or denomination, helping you know and have fellowship with other members and families in our church, helping you to find ways to serve in and through the church and praying for you and with you.

Ministry Support Team

These teams are made up of the individuals responsible for handling all the things that happen in the background during our church services and other activities. They work hard to provide you with a high quality and secure invironment to worship in.
