(Psa 71:5 NIV) For you have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth.

(Psa 103:2 NIV) Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits--

(Psa 103:3 NIV) who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,

(Psa 103:4 NIV) who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,

(Psa 103:5 NIV) who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

(Psa 103:6 NIV) The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.

(Psa 103:7 NIV) He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel:

(Psa 103:8 NIV) The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.

(Psa 103:9 NIV) He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;

(Psa 103:10 NIV) he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.

(Psa 103:11 NIV) For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;

(Psa 103:12 NIV) as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

(Psa 103:13 NIV) As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;

(Prov 14:26 NIV) He who fears the LORD has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge.

(Rom 8:31 NIV) What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

(Rom 8:32 NIV) He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

(Rom 8:33 NIV) Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.

(Rom 8:34 NIV) Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

(Rom 8:35 NIV) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

(Rom 12:12 NIV) Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

(Heb 10:23 NIV) Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

(1 Pet 1:3 NIV) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

(1 Pet 1:4 NIV) and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade--kept in heaven for you,

(1 John 5:13 NIV) I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

(1 John 5:14 NIV) This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

(1 John 5:15 NIV) And if we know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have what we asked of him.
